Inspirational stories from my experiences. Let go of what is not yours.

We make bonds and relationships in our life and hold them firmly. Yet, what happens when we make relationships with what is not ours, and grab those relationships tightly? Feel desperate. Worried. Broken. Sometimes, we even try to take our own life with the broken heart. It is because we cannot understand the truth. What is not ours cannot be held in our life. It is not ours. We deserve better.

Imagine, what will happen when you are grabbing a rope firmly, while many are pulling it towards them. You will hurt your hands. Wound them. Same. By holding what is not yours, your will hurt your feelings. Feel miserable. You will stay happy by letting go of it, same as letting go of the rope.

This is different from giving up. Giving up means we simply abort our efforts to achieve something, when things are getting harsh.  Yet, letting go of means we conclude our attachment with what is not ours by consciously understanding it. We realize, it does not belong to us anymore. Just like an ended love. By holding it in our heart any longer, we will hurt our feelings and our own soul. This is one of the inspirational stories I experienced.

Many years ago, one of my good friends loved a girl, who was pretty. Yet, in values and attitudes, she was not meant to him. He deserved better. He loved her so much, from the bottom of his heart. For the fortunate for him, she refused him constantly. She was not destined to raise his kids. Universe was not that rude to him, since he deserved really a queen with a beautiful heart and values. But, he did not understand this very truth. Grieved for her for months. Broken. Sad. Stricken. He held her firmly in his heart for months. Months passed. He was beginning to understand the truth. Realized she did not belong to him. Realized he deserved better. Let go of her forever. He did not hurt his feelings by her memory anymore. However, here, Universe protected him at all costs and reserved him for a queen, who values him and loves him so much. Now, with his queen, he is having a great family life.

So, today, let go of things that are not yours anymore. I know it is hard. Yet, holding is harder and it makes us weak over time. Stop waiting. Take actions now. You will feel comfort and happiness. You deserve better. Look forwards to welcome your future.

So, that day, I learnt the most valuable lesson in life. Let go off what is not ours. See you with another inspirational story.

  1. First off I would like to say great blog! I had a quick
question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear
your mind prior to writing. I’ve had difficulty clearing my thoughts in getting my
thoughts out. I truly do take pleasure in writing however it
just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are lost just trying to figure out how
to begin. Any suggestions or tips? Many thanks!

    1. Thank you friend!
At the beginning, I also encountered that problem. Yet, finally, I found a way that worked for me. Every time, before start writing, I sit in my chair comfortably, wear my head phones and start playing some healing music. I just close my eyes and stay still. Thoughts come to my mind yet, I just neglect them. I stay so, for about 10 minutes. It makes me feel great and relaxed. I think it will work for you too. Thanks again.
